There are links to easy reading support and helplines included below if you think you may have missed your screening opportunity.

As NHS choices suggest
“Screening is a way of finding out if people have a higher chance of having a health problem, so that early treatment can be offered or information given to help them make informed decisions.”
“NHS screening.” NHS choices website. Retrieved 19 July 2023.

Information and helplines for national screening
Under Screening we provide information on

  • The national screening programme including breast screening, bowel screening, and much more.
  • Who to contact if you think you have missed your screening opportunity.
  • Easy reading and multi-language support.

Alternatives to services we no longer offer

For various reasons we may stop offering clinics and services that we have offered in the past. Any services we have stopped are included below:

Regrettably due to the increased demands on our service we are no longer able to offer an ear syringing service.  We have continued to offer this service for as long as we could without receiving any funding to do so but unfortunately the Partners have had to come to the difficult decision to prioritise the services for which we are contracted by NHS England. This procedure is not included in our GMS contract. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause but we are sure you will appreciate that we need appointments for things that are specified within the ‘core contract of services that we have to provide’.

Another option available to you is to find a private provider such as:

  • Specsavers West Drayton, 01895 446531
  • Chalfont Hearing Centre, 01494 765144
  • Help in Hearing, 0345 222 0579
  • Rickmansworth Earwax Removal Clinic, 0800 1337 987
  • Specsavers, 01895 256010

Disclaimer: The practice takes no responsibility for services given by other private providers.
