Further changes to opening times and telephone operations

Further to our November announcement, we are redesigning our reception rota and making further changes to improve access during our busiest period of the day.

  • Our telephone lines to our care navigator/reception team will now remain open through the lunch time period (12:30 – 1:30), however please be aware call times may be higher during this time. Our new telephone operating hours are 8:30am – 6:30pm. Please continue to use medical eConsults, admin eConsults and the NHS app for most communication and requests to the practice to keep our phone lines available to our vulnerable patients and emergencies.
  • Our new phone system has a call waiting feature – you will be given the option to hang up in the queue and be called back when you are at the front of the queue.
  • We will now lock the doors of Iver Medical Centre at 5pm. Patients that have appointments after 5pm or would like to pick up paper work at reception that they are expecting to pick up can be let in by buzzing the intercom. Medication requests can still be posted in the letterbox while the doors are shut.
  • Lunch time closure of both branches will continue to be in effect between 12:30 – 1:30.

Full details on opening hours can be found on our Opening Hours page.
